Allah said in the Quran oh you who believe, All of you must repent to ALLAH(SWT) some of the muslims... due to their limited knowledge of Islam, they may assume that they can delay the repentance...untill they reach a certain age... i.e., until they get married... i.e., until they perform their HAJJ... and they have thoughts... that they can do whatever they wanna do... because ALLAH will wait for them... and the angel of death will wait for them... 

But they don't realize that the angel of death does not discriminate, angel of death does not know if you are young or old, it doesn't care whether you are rich or poor, whether you are male or female, whether you are healthy or ill, the ANGEL OF DEATH has a list of names and based on that list ANGEL OF DEATH will take the souls of the people. 

Some of the stories from BANI ISRAEL, just to support what we're saying not to take it as the core material of our religion, but they said that ANGEL OF DEATH he looks at the persons face 5 times a day and he sees his person that he is planning for his future, he's planning for his wedding, he's planning for his business, he's planning for his trips, he's planning for the future of his children, 

But ANGEL OF DEATH is saying "What a poor soul, he doesn't know that his time is coming soon, he doesn't know but he thinks he has so much time. 

In a similar narration, we all know the story of King and Prophet SOLOMON(PEACE BE UPON HIM) that in the presence of the prophet his advisors were sitting next to him, one of his advisors he felt uncomfortable and he left and he came back later on and SOLOMON (AS) said it is not your nature to act like that and behave as such and leave as such, he said AYUHAN NABI... the man who was sitting next to you was staring at me....looking at me in a strange way... he made me very uncomfortable and I left. Who was he? SOLOMON(AS) said he was the ANGEL OF DEATH!

 The advisor said... SUBHAN ALLAH me... and the ANGEL OF DEATH on the same land? it cannot be, so please order the wind to carry me to a far land... from the earth of ALLAH(SWT) So SOLOMON(AS).....(making a long stroy short) he ordered the wind to carry this man.... into the land of INDIA and SUBHAN ALLAH shortly after that the ANGEL OF DEATH once again came to SOLOMON(AS) and when he came to him SOLOMON(AS) said to the ANGEL OF DEATH you made my advisor very uncomofortable... what were you staring at him like this for? 

He said I was shocked about his presence ALLAH has ordered me to take his soul in the land of INDIA, so I followed the orders of ALLAH and I went to INDIA saying SUBHAN ALLAH... how can I take the soul of this man...who is all the way in Palestine and all of the sudden the wind brought him to me.... on due time.. so I took his soul... so no matter what we try to do... and this is again not from SAHIH AL BHUKHARI OR MUSLIM...so again we have no knowledge when the angel of death will come and will ask your soul to be delivered....and send it back to ALLAH(SWT)... and that's why we say(in the QURAN) indeed we belong to ALLAH and to ALLAH we all shall repent

who when disaster striked them, say, 
"Indeed we belong to ALLAH, and indeed to him we will return"
