List of the things which Break the Fasting in Ramadan
There are 10 Different things approximately which can break the fasting in the Ramadan.
They are categorized in two different things:
The First Category that which breaks the fast, when we take any thing inside the body, In there are 4 things ,
1.The first is Eating and Drinking and
2.The second is anything that falls inside in the same way eating and drinking and
3.The Third is taking Medicines, or Pills and Injections which are in the form of Nourishment or somewhat similar to eating and drinking even Blood Transfusion and
4.The Fourth is somewhat related to the kidney dialysis where the blood taken out, its purified and put back in.
The Second Category ,that which come out from the body there are the 6 things in them,
1.The First one is Sexual Intercourse and
2.The Second is Masturbation and
3.The Third is Menstruation and
4.The Fourth is Postnatal bleeding and
5.The Fifth one is Deliberately Vomiting and
6.The Sixth is Letting out blood some what similar to Cupping or something similar to that.
This are the 10 Things which can break your Fasting During Ramadan.
Of the 10 things mentioned above which one is more Serious and Sinful which Invalidate the Fasting?
The act which is most Serious and Sinful among which Invalidate the Fasting is Sexual Intercourse.
And you have Repent for that... you have to complete the fast for that day and you have to make it up later and you have to pay penalty that is Kaffarah.
According to the Sahih Hadith in which our belove prophet (p.b.u.h) said, Its Mentioned in Sahih Bukhari Volume 3 In the Book of fasting Hadith Number 1936 where a man come to the prophet(p.b.u.h) and said O Prophet (p.b.u.h) I am Ruined. The prophet (p.b.u.h) said What is the Matter?
The Man says "I had sex with my wife during while i was in fasting " So Prophet (p.b.u.h) said that "Can you free a Slave" the man replies NO then " Can you continuously Fast for 60 Days:
Man say NO then "Can you Feed 60 poor people" Man says NO then the Hadith Continues,
In short we come to know that If any man commits Sexual Intercourse while he was in fasting then he should immediately Repent Allah (SWT) and he should complete the fast for that day and make up for that fast later after Ramadan and he has to pay penalty comes from the hadith we just came to know.
If You can Do the first thing That is " Free a Slave"
then you cant go for the second unless you have no money and not able to find the slave.
If you cant fast consecutively for 60 days, if you misses 1 fast during those 60 days then need to start from first. If you cant do this then you need to feed the 60 poor people as a Kaffarah.
